Too much on your plate? Unable to manage and perform. If this is you, keep reading. A simple trick which will help you excel.

Whether one should multi-task or not is an ongoing debate which will never end. Though extreme multi-tasking does slow your mind. But if done with discipline, it can work wonders. Freelancers have to do it to some extent, since they cater to many clients at times.

Back during our school days, we would learn so many subjects within a day. Apart from homework, learning was fun. Isn’t it? After every 30 minutes or so, a new subject taught. We had our focus on only that one subject and nothing else. It could be Mathematics, Chemistry or History. Our mind could grasp the content given to us. Our mind has got trained for that.

We can put the same method to use for our daily work. Look at every task, side-project or activity as a school subject. We can start to have fixed time slots to work on it. During that class time, we work one hundred percent on that particular subject. With this practice, we will be having a time table and start getting more things done. Also, we can set the part of the day as per our best performance hours.

Once you begin with this practice, you will realize your ability to finish tasks at ease. Your confidence will rise even higher, and stress levels lower. You will be able to better see how much work can you take. This will help you stay organized and calm.

Needless to say, your productivity will improve a lot with this technique.

Caution!

Do not daydream. If that’s what you did during your school days, make your you keep your focus. Daydreaming did not help you there, nor will it help here.
Go! Make your dream a reality.
